At the presentation, Lynda Haines announced that all five recipients received top honors this year.

- Will attend Stanford
- Intended major: Computer Systems Engineering
- Other interests: Badminton, Tennis, instrumental in getting a $2M youth center built in San Carlos
Christina Lee
- Monte Vista High School, Danville
- Will attend Yale
- Intended major: Chemistry leading to Medicine
- Other interests: Piano, Chemistry teaching assistant and web master, developer of Honors Chemistry tutorials for the web site, hospital volunteer, mentors 6th grade girls
Kenneth Mah
- Monta Vista High School, Cupertino
- Will attend U.C. Berkeley
- Intended major: Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science)
- Other interests: Basketball, Soccer, Piano, Robotics team, Eagle Scout, student intern at Stanford Medical Center in Radiology
Jeremiah Torres
- Palo Alto Senior High, Palo Alto
- Will attend Stanford
- Intended major: Symbolic Systems and Physics
- Other interests: Piano, Wrestling, Kiwanis youth (Key) club president
Guha Jayachandran
