Star Trek: The Exhibition has begun its "five year mission" to tour the United States. It opened at San Jose's Tech Museum of Innovation on October 23. The AIAA San Francisco Section has reserved a block of tickets to view the Star Trek exhibition at The Tech Museum.
We plan to meet near The Tech for a happy hour at 5pm at [i]The Grill on the Alley[/i], in the Fairmont Hotel, across from the museum.
If you're interested and want to join us, please reserve below by November 27.
Star Trek, Gene Roddenberry's vision of humanity in space several hundred years from now, first appeared on television about three years before Apollo 11's Eagle touched down at Tranquility Base. In spite of cancellation by NBC, it continued to gather a fan base, and led to several follow-on movies and TV series.
According the The Tech, "This exhibition will be spread across more than 15,000-square-feet and features all five television series and eleven films that span over 40 years."
