Dr. Fang serves as the Web Server System Administrator and Webmaster
of the AIAA San Francisco Section. He is primarily responsible for maintaining the Section's World Wide Web Server to assist
promoting council member's activities. He is also responsible for section calendar and past
events records. The tasks for the new season will implement the
interactive function of the sectional Web for communication between AIAA
members/non-members and aerospace engineering authorities.
Dr. Fang is currently employed by Raytheon STX as a software engineer at NASA
Ames Research Center (ARC). His current work deals with the continued
research and software enhancement of the ground- based Air
Traffic Control Automation program called Center-TRACON Automation
System (CTAS). Prior to working for Sterling Software, he was a graduate
research assistant for
High Speed Civil Transport (HSCT) for NASA
Lewis Research Center (LeRC) in University
of South Florida (USF). He earned his Ph.D. in the study of Low Pollution
Combustor Design in USF. He also has a Aerospace Master degree from his
