We invite your questions, comments, and interest in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Listed below are the names and contact emails for the Executive Council of the San Francisco Section of AIAA for the current council year. In addition to the many services which AIAA offers its members nationally (including technical conferences, publications, and committees), it also encourages regional activity in each of the many sections (or chapters) located across the nation. Each section is governed by a council of officers (elected by the section membership) and directors (appointed by the section chairman).
The San Francisco Section has roughly 1,100 members located throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area, primarily in Silicon Valley. A dinner meeting featuring a timely speaker is held each month. The council meets regularly on the first Tuesday of the month.
Active participation in the local council provides members with outstanding opportunities to network with colleagues, enhance leadership skills, further their personal careers, and have a positive influence on the aerospace field.
