Glen was the Chairman of the AIAA San Francisco Section, 1998-1999. The Chairman oversees and manages all section activities. Glen is now an advisor to the council.

Glen served as the Vice Chair of the AIAA San Francisco Section, 1997-1998. The Vice Chair prepares the Section for the following season, since the Vice Chair will advance to Chair at that time. The Vice Chair also oversees the program committee, which host dinner programs and other events at selected venues. Glen organized the Air Travel Safety Initiative 1997 special public event.

Glen served as the Secretary of the AIAA San Francisco Section, 1996-1997. The Secretary is primarily resonsible for the minutes at council meetings, maintaining records, maintaining an inventory of Section property and maintaining the council roster. The Secretary maintains the local email adderesses, and sends out email and newsgroup announcements when requested.

Glen served as Director of Public Policy in the AIAA San Francisco Section, 1997. During this time, Glen actively pursued aviation experts to serve on a panel for the Air Travel Safety Initiative 1997. This event is scheduled for October 20, 1997, and is open to the public.

Glen has served as Director of Career Enhancement in the AIAA San Francisco Section, 1995-1997. The career enhancement director provides the local section members with leads to AIAA information on how to improve their career. The director attempts to find ways of facilitating the networking of local AIAA members. The director also attempts to promote aerospace careers and industry in the local region. Glen served as the Deputy Director of Career Enhancement for Region VI for 1996-1997, and was a member of the AIAA National Career Enhancement Committee during 1996-1997.

Glen also served as the Director of Online Administration in the AIAA San Francisco Section, 1995-1996. The Online Administrator is responsible for maintaining the web pages and its sponsorship. As Online Administrator, I was involved in much of the layout and presentation of the local web pages.

Glen has been a member of the San Francisco Section since 1991. In 1994, he was active in the planning of the AIAA event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Apollo 11, and the development of the AIAA Robot Wars entry in 1995. He has been actively working with the Young Members director Matt Jardin on the development of the daVinci Forum for aerospace enthusiasts and the Edison Network for entrepreneurs.

Glen is currently employed by Lutris Technologies as a software engineer. Lutris Technologies is the sponsor of Enhydra, the dominant Open Source Java/XML application server. Lutris provides professional services to the Enhydra community and Internet savvy businesses. Lutris also works with early-stage entrepreneurs to create envelope-pushing Internet business and technology strategies.
